VIVE LA FRANCE!
A VISIT BY A GROUP OF FRENCH FOODSERVICE STUDENTS CHECKING OUT THE IRISH BEVERAGE SCENE | March
We tried our best at speaking French and go by with Bonjour! Fortunately the group of 21 students (all in their final year) and 3 teachers form the Universtity of Tours (Loire Valley) in France had an excellent understanding of English, and them being well versed in wine, the origin of wine and tastings, we had a bit of fun around the 'bouquet' of coffee.
They told us they were encouraged and 'deeply recommended' to visit us by a former class who stopped by to see us back in the day - 2007 in our quaint little roastery.
They have promised to drop us a few lines about their experience and a few photos taken on the day - so watch this space for an update of our boys and girls in bleu!

A VISIT BY A GROUP OF GERMANS CHECKING OUT THE IRISH BEVERAGE SCENE | January
So, we were recently visited by a group of German coffee roasters! Don't ask us any questions and we promise not to tell any lies! Seriously we had a bit of fun, and we were assured by Todd that they enjoyed our coffee, our processes, our humour and our new purpose-built carbon-neutral roasting facility. So impressed that they presented us with a plague and an honourary membership - now that's an honour.
The German roasters guild Kaffeegenießern has been awarded the "Certifiziert" a reliable standard for handcrafted quality roasted coffee. The award-winning coffee roaster with this seal ensures:
