Don’t follow roasting trends – listen to your customers

Here you see two piles of beans.

Each contains the 65 whole coffee beans needed to make one shot of espresso.

What’s different? The coffee on the right is Blue Earth, a classic dark roast. This award-winning roast has a signature taste that is bold and big-bodied, with notes of hazelnut and a dark chocolate finish.

The left shows Miti Mota, a more contemporary light roast. It offers a more funky taste – with notes of zingy lemon sherbet, red berries, toffee and a lingering finish of sweet liquorice.

Both are superb coffees. We won’t judge if you prefer dark roasts, and we certainly won’t insist that you only use light roasts, served in a particular sized cup.

What counts is your customers tastes, the capabilities of your equipment and the skill of your barista.

They’re the only factors we consider when we tailor your coffee blend. We don’t care what’s in fashion. We care what works for you and what grows your business.
